The Prom Project of Michigan (TPPoM) was founded in 2021 from a conversation with women who never experienced the milestone that is the prom and realizing that there was an empty space that was not being fulfilled by other organizations. Ms. Johnson began this initiative as a one-time service project with the belief that it would never happen again. It was quickly realized by everyone involved, that this was necessary, and as a result, The Prom Project of Michigan was born!
We are dedicated to empowering survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence by providing an annual prom to celebrate them and to remind them that they are beautiful, valuable, and deserving of success.
